Our Commitment

FreeTaxUpdate.com is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Testing & Ongoing Audits

We test our site with a combination of automated tools (such as axe and Lighthouse) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing. Accessibility is reviewed as part of every major release.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some content on our site may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Known limitations include:

• Some older blog images may lack descriptive alt text — we are backfilling these.
• Embedded third-party content (for example, maps and analytics widgets) may have accessibility issues outside our direct control.
• Complex data tables and charts may require additional keyboard-only refinement.
